My daughter works at the Chase call center and is wanting to move somewhere close by. Since I'm clueless about that area, can anyone give me the names of some apartment complexes that are fairly close to 151/Wiseman? Thanks!

I'm not sure--I'll try to remember to check today on my way by there--but if she's already in a place have her register on moveforfree.com and they will pay for her move and get her a special on move-in. I've done it twice now since being in San Antonio.

I've known two people that live in the apartments by the Hyatt Hill Country, but they aren't cheap at all.. what's your price range?

and definitely don't get those townhomes in front of Westcreek (the section 8 ones)

There's also some apartments in the walmart shopping center @ Culebra/1604. They look really nice, but that's all I know about them.

There's not a lot of apartments in this area and definitely stay away from the ones on Potranco down by Military. I've heard plenty of bad things about them.

Bear Springs.

Tell here to ask the managers which places give a discount.

Btw I live at Babcock and Hamilton Wolfe and they give Chase employees 5% discount.

I currently live in Laurel Canyon Apartment Homes (the ones behind the walmart on 1604 and culebra). me and my fiance have been here since January, and have never had a problem with anything. I have heard people complain of bugs on various forums, but we have yet to see any. The front desk has always been helpful, and we absolutely love it there! If you have animals though, the pet deposit is pretty high. $400 per animal, with only half of it refundable. I have also known people to live at the Lodge at Westover hills (the ones near Hyatt resort) and they seemed to like them, but had mixed feelings about moving back. There seemed to be an issue with their lease and what needed to be done before they could move out (something along the lines of a mandatory carpet cleaning at their expense)

Ugh! Definitely don't want her to move to Section 8 apartments. The price range she's looking at is between $600-$700 for a one bedroom.

Thanks, ryneone! We'll look into those and definitely ask about discounts.

Cool, thanks! No need to worry about the pet deposit, her boyfriend won't be moving in with her.

the two petrockmedia mentioned were the two I was talking about. they both look very nice on the outside and the Laurel Canyon is definitely within walking distance of quite a few things, so it would be gas friendly
