Ok so we don't hijack another thread.

What are you people complaining about?

We have had an outdated system that was less cost effective than the new system.

Here is the map.

To get 1+ million people on the same system is not an easy task. Most people can't manage their own yard. So give them a bit of a break on this issue. They are doing a pretty good job.

No complaints here, either! Matter of fact, we LOVE our new recycle cart and larger trash bin. Better for the neighborhood (WAY less random cans blowing around, and WAY less trash "escaping" via dogs!) and better for the environment! It's a win-win!

The only thing I don't like is how much space the big cans take up in the garage, and we rearranged things to make it tolerable. Other than that, the switch is exceeding my expectations.

Be glad it is not like Phoenix (mesa at least) where they have three.

Black=Trash

Blue=Recycle

Green=Lawn and Brush (picked up every other week)

All the same size.

I like the larger bins too. What do you do with the old ones? Did they pick them up & we were skipped?

We put the little blue one in the new, big recycle bin and they took it. As far as my other garbage can that we'd roll to the streets...probably going to give it to my grandma because she needs a new one (although it's not new, but she would use it).

Well that's my only complaint if you are going to implement a new can system the city should have picked up the old ones to dispose of them!!!
