I contacted the YMCA and found that soccer for one summer session is [b]90.00[b] per child (I have 3
) plus a membership fee of 30.00----300.00 to play soccer for one season! Does anyone know of any more reasonable sports league?

I don't know how much Upwards is but they have several soccer programs thru various churches just look up upwards on line.

My son plays through the ACYSO. $90 seems to be the going rate unfortunately.

Try your local Parks and Rec depts instead of private clubs...they usually have cheaper prices. Ours is 37.00 per season. If you are in a large city, there are probably many smaller towns around you that also have Parks and Rec departments. Good Luck Moderator cut: no advertising as per the terms of service

My son played through the AHFSH, (Alamo Heights / Fort Sam Houston) but I think it was around $90, plus of course equipment costs. Then he didn't want to play the following season, but the one AFTER when he'd outgrown his cleats and such. It's not cheap...
