My 2005 Scion TC cost about $45 to fill up and I need to refuel about every 10 days.

Works out to 72 MPG...Sometimes AVIS gives me the Prius...it doesn't seem like I get anywhere near that. More like 50 MPG

EDITED: I just re-read and saw that you have the Civic..that's quite a bit smaller that the Prius I believe...apples and oranges I guess.
Last time I filled up it was at 3.40/gallon a few weeks ago.

However, I filled up today and it was $45. I did give a range, and generally my tank isn't totally empty when I fill up, so the $ is a little less than for a full tank (and so I should also say the miles a little less). I'm not going to do the math, but I can generally get close to 600 miles on one tank, esp if I'm doing mainly highway driving.

OMG yes!!! I love my scion tC!!! I origianlly drove a civic EX special edition, but a lady ran a red light and t-boned me! hit me so hard my frame bent and flattened all my tires! Did tons of research and came to the scion tC. love the car, and for the price, you get such an awesome car. like a little sports supercar!

2004 Ford Explorer Sport Trac
$70.00 to fill up.
Gas lasts about 1 week, depending on how much I run around after work.

Used older cars like the Geo Metros are going up in price. Who would have thought that piece of junk years ago, especially a car would actually "appreciate".
