HELP! HELP! HELP!
I really need to find someone that can cut both of my daughters hair.
They have a lot of hair, its really a lot of hair, down to their butts.
I have went to a couple of hairdressers and they have said that they have too much hair or they weren't kid freindly and I just took them out because the hairdresser just did not seem to know how to deal with kids.
They are mixed Black and Asian Indian and it is really a lot of hair. My oldest is tender headed and her hair is strong enough to break plastic combs. She is the sweetest thing an Earth until she sees a comb because it does take some effort to pull a comb through her hair and get the knots out, so the hairdresser has to be strong and gentle and can deal with crying (If she likes you she will lay some of those crocodile tears, but she will stay still and be quiet for the most part). They have been here almost a year and I can't find anyone that is good with kids and can work with the type and amount of hair they have. I cut their hair one time and I just messed it up, plus they are girls and they are in elementary school and kids can be mean.
Please I do not need advice on how to take care of their hair, they need a haircut. We just need someone that can cut hair.

Call this place and talk to them.

Salon and Barber Services in San Antonio

It's in Leon Valley right by Bandera and Eckhert. Good luck! I am very tender-headed, too, and at 43 I cry when I see a comb, so I know how your daughter feels.

You may try googling the locks of love website and see if there are hairdressers that will cut your children's hair -- provided they want at least 12" cut. I think it has to be a 12" braid that they cut and donate to the program to make wigs for children with cancer. Surely one of those hairdressers would be familiar with cutting long hair! Good luck!
