The demand for local football is there, but these football minor leagues just keep folding.

I'd much rather see SA concentrate on MLB than NFL.

I think it's got a more prudent money-factor for this market and an easier sell against a guy like Jerry Jones never allowing an NFL team in SA.

It's all a pipedream anyway.

^ A baseball stadium certainly gets more use than most NFL stadiums. Including concerts and other events. Many of the same events that have happened at the Alamoddome recently such as Elton John concert, Bad Bunny concert, Monster Jam and even the annual bowl game have taken place here in San Diego at the Padre's ball park... this is in addition to the 80ish home games played.

Not to mention that MLB baseball games are a heck of alot cheaper to attend than NFL football. Downtown ball parks feel more urban and tend to flow very well with the city center much more so than football stadiums. Football stadiums tend to be out in the burbs.
