Since this is definitely a move to attract male customers, female customers should expect to see male baristas wear speedos

The article alone should have been enough to see this trend isn't on-trend anymore.

Typical SA. 20 years late.

Both MySA and the SA Express News are unreadable garbage at this point.

Restaurants (or "Brestaurants") like Twin Peaks, Hooters and Tilted Kilt were real popular in the 90s and 2000s but seem dated and going out of style. This was at a time when current progressive late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel was hosting "The Man Show" and had bikini girls bouncing on trampolines, different times for sure. Although, the newer Texas based Ojos Locos is basically the same concept with a Hispanic twist and seems to be quite popular across the Southwestern US....but Ojos Locos soon to be first location in Los Angeles (Downey, CA) is receiving alot push back from the community despite being in a heavily Hispanic area.

Maybe the coffee shop will do well given its location. In this post "me too" movement world, other parts of the country seem to be afraid of objectifying woman like we used to do regularly in the 80s, 90s and 2000s.

Hooters does seem to be going out of style because they haven't seemed to change much in terms of food or atmosphere. The newer ones like Twin Peaks or even Ojos Locos have menus that seem to be constantly refreshed.

a Hispanic twist? LOL You know the saying...you can put lipstick on a pig, but it is still a pig.

In Seattle, and several cities to the north such as Shoreline, Lynnwood, and Everett there are still very popular bikini barista coffee shops. In fact, cities that have tried to ban them have not had much luck.
