Any of you that have ever lived/visited the Philippines or other Southern Asia countries may have tried and fallen in love iwth Calamansi...a small but POTENT fruit that is used to season food, make a limeade type of drink, season meat. It is WONDERFUL!!!

Anyway, the Sari-Sari store directly across from Ancira Winton and the Washtub there on Wurzbach just before Evers Rd has some for sale WITH FRUIT!!! Very reasonable I think, $35 for a tree about 3 ft tall and loaded with fruit already!!!

If anyone is interested, I would check to see if she has any left.

Here is a site to learn about them if you are interested...

Calamansi, Calamansi Tree, Calamansi Citrus Fruit Trees, Kalamansi, Calamondin, Philipine Lime, Lime Tree Seeds, Tree Seeds, Tropical Fruit, Tropical Trees, Citrus Trees

Got mine and just potted it!!! Picked to enjoy in the dressing on the salad tonite!

This winter be sure to keep it warm. They don't tolerate freezing weather very well (like all citrus trees).
