Vaeldious

The property is not privately owned but instead belongs to the city. You took a big risk trespassing but it seems you were aware of that when you did it by your caveat at the bottom of your post.

If you do get permission to go back there, could you please post the info in case some of us would like to tag along? I am sure several of us would really like to tour the place; but most won't risk getting arrested (or shot) to do so.

And nice pics, despite the fact that they were illegally obtained!

Cheers! M2

Our true first stop was the Hot Wells Resort, but it looked too difficult to get away with tresspassing...which is why we chose the Juvenile facility. After scoping the place (very quickly and in daylight), we noticed that the entrance from Farm road had been used WAAAY too much. This is where all the vandals/kids etc enter from, which is why we came in from the NW...to reduce the risk of variables we could control (although there were plenty more that we couldnt).

Anyway, point being, we talked to the guy who lives in the trailer at the Hot Wells Resort. We did manage to get a contact name and number for who to talk to, so that we can gain access, take pictures, and do some EVPs.

I should find the Hot Wells Resort topic and post the contact info there?

Wow, Vaeldious, some of those pictures really give me the creeps! Especially the one with the hallway with the open doors and many of the outside shots.

Good job with the photography! Do you have any other photos of other places you have checked out?

me and my friends had barely turned on the road to the asylum before the cops pulled us over. They had been waiting for kids in a nearby parking lot.
They tried to arrest me claiming that its tresspassing right when u turn on the road that leads to the asylum, however, i know they were just trying to scare me so i wouldnt go back. I would not advise going at anytime because their seems to be cops patrolling that area pretty heavily. We went at two in the morning and were caught so i cant think of a what would be a good time to go.

South Presa and Koehler. It's between the former and the river. Or, in other words, here.

It is also on private property, so unless you are just planning to look at it on GoogleEarth, you can't go visit...

Cheers! M2

Speaking of satellite imagery, any idea when Google or Microsoft is going to get new shots of San Antonio? Those pictures are 3 years old. There is so much new to see if the pictures were more current. I just hope the next batch that Google takes are NOT super low res like their current ones are.
