Today at about 4am I was heading over to work when i was passing on millset chase i noticed a van I havent seen before, there were four guys in it, I could not see their faces, the two guys infront were African American by the way they were talking. It sounded like they were from Louisana. I didnt stop there as i was approaching them, I highbeam their asses to see what they were up to. they got in their van and scramed I managed to follow them up to cedron chase and potranco from there they turned right. but i took down their licene number (438 Rxx)(i dont want to give the last two) I aslo called the sheriff's department and made a report.

so if you see a white E class ford van thats doing some suspicous things please call the sheriff.

no this van was parked. the google map guy is a ford escort, with cameras mounted on top. actually this is the second time ive ran into them! the first time they fled and now at least i managed to report them. I dont want to get close to them because i dont have a gun on my work car but i do carry a katana around. JIC

I thought Google uses a black or maybe dark gray New Beetle. Sometimes when you scroll out from Streetview as far as you can you can see it, but I can't see it when "driving" through Westcreek.
I can't imagine them being out at 4:00 AM, though, and it's good that people are paying attention and being proactive. Although with the large military presence there, it's probably not the best place to do a home invasion. Then again, that would be a good thing for those of us that like to see the Castle Doctrine in action..

I saw the Google-mobile driving around. It was a blue/gray Cobalt with California plates and a Google logo on the side. Look at some street view pictures of the city and you'll see it. Specifically, towards Potranco / Hwy 1604.

Crap! I wonder if it's been here again or is coming? I need to clean up my front porch! Seriously. Last time it "caught" us in the middle of moving stuff around, out of the shed, etc. and the porch looks trashy. Right now it's a mess for other reasons. I hope they don't come here soon!

On a related note.. what a sweet job, drivig that thing around!?! Sheesh!

Thumbs up van and breakins

A friend lives over near Potranco and N. Ellison (near Sea World) had her van broken into. They broke into a few other vehicles too. This happened about a month ago and happened earlier in April. They were mainly after tools left in vehicles. The police made reports each time but didn't think they'd catch them. If they have a plate now - that'd be GREAT. Thanks for the good work.
