Just wanted to let everyone know about the Bandera Riverfest. Here is the website:
Bandera Riverfest

I went last year but I didn't participate. This year I am entering the car show. Maybe I'll win another trophy

How fun!!! I wish I had know earlier. This is the park across the street from the old Jelly stone RV campground? I will have to write this on the calendar for next year. Same time every year? We are still trying to get everything ready for the lake. Now we have a years notice for next year.

What kind of car are you entering? Do they get some funny stuff floating in the water?

Yes, it is at the city park across from JellyStone park. It is around this time every year. I will try to post up sooner next year.
They have some pretty funny stuff floating in the river. You would be surprised at what people come up with.

There is a classic car show with some beautiful cars in it. I am entering my Jeep in the Truck series. I am doing it with a group from Brutal Off Road (a business in Pipe Creek).

It was a blast. I didn't place in the show though . But fun was had by all. I found out that it is the last Saturday in June every year, so mark your calendars for next year.
I was a little disappointed in the float parade. I only saw two of them. There were tons of old cars, a bbq cookoff, karaoke, kayak racing, and lots of vendors selling stuff. And of course, lots of people swimming in the river.
