at first they were just the sugar ants appearing in the house, which wasnt too bad. just a few here and there. then more and more started showing up. we keep our house really clean. if for one instance we might leave a few dishes overnight, there are lots of ants in that area the next morning.

today really sucked when it was those huge outside ants inside our house just all over stuff.

whats the best way to get rid of them all? its getting kinda bad, and to an extreme.

Get those Black and Decker plug-in things--they really seem to help at my house. And you just can't leave dishes overnight--at least rinse them and put them in the dishwasher. Unfortunately, all it takes is one dish with something on it and they're going to want to eat.

Sprinkle cinnamon at the border where they come in... the ants won't cross it.

Home Defense in all the window sills and around the bottom outside of the house should help.

That's what we have used for years. We have just started to see the little ones again. Time to spray again and get back on schedule..

Home defense works on everything for us. Just spray it all along the outside of the house. We put it on the brick edge and in the weep holes good. Works for a good long time. We sometimes we will see a "sick" one crawling across the floor but most of the time.. nothing.

yes, it works for just about everything.
If I see just one ant in my house, I spray, and it's all good, no more ants.
I usually spray about twice a year.
