Aren't you the one that wanted to kick cocaine, but you said you couldn't cuz it just smelled soooooooo good? Yeah, it was you.

Mules.....meh, usually they are the ones that are thrown to the wolves by the big runners--while the cops are busy taking the mules down, the really big load sneaks by. Stupid mules.

There are some really big take-downs that occur on a semi-regular basis. Last year, for example, the DEA seized over $200 million from a drug kingpin in Mexico City. Check this link out for a great picture (and video) of the cash along with a story:

News from DEA, News Releases, 03/20/07 (http://www.usdoj.gov/dea/pubs/pressrel/pr032007.html - broken link)

It happens, but not much publicity is given to the major take-downs. I could give you plenty of examples, most of which are on the DEA site.

They will probably transer for a state that allows it. Like CA. Or heck they might re-sell it or smoke it up themselves.

Oh, goodness! Pay attention, dude. Medicinal marijuana is prohibited by FEDERAL law, which overrides state law, so transferring it to a state which allows it would also be against the law. Just because California state law allows marijuana for medicinal purposes, don't think for a minute that the Feds don't come after those who use or distribute it for that purpose.

That reminds me of this video of a reporter reporting from a field of burning marijuana:

True story--back a few years ago, Allied troops were put in charge of "disposing" of marijuana and poppy harvests in Afghanistan. They did the only thing they could considering the volume of stuff--they burned it. The problem?

They ended up DOWNWIND of the burning material. Talk about a contact high!
