Holy bejebus, those residential numbers are unreal. Shoot, the avg. residential water use is unreal to me... I remember reading it was some where around 10,000 Gallons. My wife and I have consistently used less than 1,000 Gallons from month to month, the most recent being the exception because I used ~1600 gallons, and that's with watering the grass.

Folks must be refilling pools like bath water, lol. Yet Fox finds their way to my neck of the woods to do a story about 'water conservation' (or lack therof). They need to over to Terrell Hights and Olmos Park (if they can get in!) and do an expose!

I used to think Tommy Lee used hot air to inflate his over-churlish ego, but now it's confirmed that he's been using SAWS water! Based on his consumption, his ego is now the size of Oprah's elastic waistband.

Well, now I know...

I guess I just find it funny that with all of SA's local celebs, Jones is one of the few who's a confirmed ***hole. He rarely makes public appearances, never gives to local causes and is a general cantankerous old coot. I'm hoping that Hardberger bans him from the city in the near future, ala Ozzy Osbourne and his peeing on the Alamo.

Dare to dream,

BN

Where is it written that a celebrity has to make public appearances, give to local causes, or even be nice to you? If you're not a fan, skip his movies.

I'm sure he's next on the ban list.

He hangs out a local restaurant and has been very gracious in offering autographs to local fans interupting his family meal (I've witnessed this on more than one occasion). He buys local art He's been polite and friendly the few times I've run into him in my 'hood.

Your talking about the actor right? I used to work at Borders Books in the Quarry, and he was a regular shopper there, and the man was an a__ every time. when someone tells you "hello" how hard is it to turn and at least smile? I heard on the radio that the police will be paying him a visit today with a few questions.

I *may* have peed on the Alamo once when I was 18 and drunk. Note *may*

Maybe he's softened up in his old age. This has been in the past 2 years or so.

He's not Robin Williams, but he's very nice and polite.

I'm impressed. I thought we were doing well at ~3000 gallons usually.

Touche. At least Jones doesn't punch fans like Russell Crowe.

That's surprising Chaka... more so that you have that fancy-pants washer.

But you have kids no? It's just us two. And I drink a lot of water (kool-aid has too much sugar for my liking).
