I'll start by saying that I like Whole Foods. I like their business model, the products they carry and their philosophy on work.

It's our San Antonio Whole Foods store that I don't like.

This store just can't seem to get it's ____ together. Here are some things I have a problem with:

-Their new policy on smoothies, which involves you recieving the drink after you've paid for your groceries (and has left me walking out of the store without my smoothie - which I paid for - on a few occasions).

-Their "pre-made" section which is woefully understocked compared with other stores in smaller cities.

-Their "pre-made" foods in general are not very consistent. Seems to be no quality checks/controls in place. I bought some really awful cole slaw the other day, got the same exact thing last week and it was really good!

-A few times, I've bought meat that has gone bad within 1 DAY of purchase (might've even been bad when I bought it).

-Rotten produce seems to be a common factor.

I could go on more, but I'll stop short here and ask: Has anyone else experienced problems with this store? Am I crazy? Wait, don't answer that...

I don't mind paying a little more for quality and good business practices, but our store really sucks. In my opinion, at least.

I agree with you for the most part. I've had really bad luck with their produce. I've had ok luck with fish, never bought meat.

I just don't bother shopping there anymore.
