How do I find the rental property managers of a rental house? The owners are somewhere in California. I've had much worse neighbors but these young men (or maybe one man) are doing work for several hours at a time and it's starting to get annoying.
A week or so ago, I remember this guy using a circular saw for hours and hours on end, day after day in the driveway in front of his house. I though to myself, how much cutting does he half to do before he finally puts something together. Well just as I finished that thought, he started with something that sounds like a really loud air compressor that ran a nail gun and he started putting the shelf or whatever it is together and the air compressor and each nail going in was so loud.
I usually admire tinkerers but it's getting so annoying because there doesn't seem to be an end - I don't think he he is working on a "project", I bet this is business.
If it continues much longer, I want to consider writing to the rental company. I don't have an HOA.
Thanks

Did you look under the tax assesor records? That should at least have the name of the owner or company.

Yes, the name of the owner is there (California) but not the company that manages the property.
Thx

That could be a daunting task. Have you tried to contact the owner by mail perhaps? They could be using any number of realtors/property management companies in San Antonio.

It sounds like what the guy is doing is annoying, but perfectly legal.

Default finding landlord?

Can't you just go over and ask him what gives? He might be working on an big project and it'll be done by next weekend. If he is working during reasonable hours, then you'll know your neighbors are more productive than most people. Seems the bouncing basketball for hours on end is more annoying.

You have terrible luck with neighbors. Weren't you the one that sued your next door neighbor for something a while back? Trouble must follow you.

Call 311, complain to code compliance, let the get a few calls in, they might even notify the agency, and possibly get the info for you also.

I think he's thinking a zoning violation--i.e. business run out of a residential property.
