Wow, so it looks like there's only two main choices Time Warner or Road Runner, (or I guess theyre the same company?) or a lesser known joint. Thanks. I love to hear the thoughts on it and info. I also have to get good security cause our home comp got a virus that pretty much wiped it out, and I'm devastated cause I hadn't moved my babies pictures of their whole life so far off of there. And now it's ...I don't know what I'm gonna do. I sure hope they have some good computer experts there.

We found out that GVTC (Guadalupe Valley Telephone Company or Coop) doesn't cover our area of New Braunfels and I really wanted to try them, even though they are a lil more expensive, they seemed really cool. And AT&T only has dsl here it seems-which we don't want. So I'm kind of at a loss. It's like Time Warner has it all sewn up and you are forced to get them or have no internet. I saw this thing on HughesNet but it's Satellite so that seems less secure to me and I've hear because everything is just floating out there. I know it is with everything, but even less secure than Broadband Cable. Don't know what I'm gonna do but we can't stay without internet at home. I sooo miss being able to just access information on everyday things even. To me the internet is such a great thing and I use it for sooo many things.
