Hello, I'm new to San Antonio. We are buying a brand new 22,000 sf home and wondering about the average cost of utility bills we'll be paying. Please help!

Thanks

(Because I am half retarded, the above post should say 2,200 sf)

LOL and if one's house is that big, does one care what the water bill is?

I think you are asking in the wrong forum.....we haven't had any posters that live in a house that huge, at least nonethat have discussed their utility bills with us.

Oh OK.
My house is 30 years old and 400 sf smaller, so I'm afraid I can't offer anything.(as usual ) Help will be forthcoming soon, though!

2600 sqft newer home:

Gas and electricity: peaked at $225 in the summer and maybe $85 in the winter. I keep the A/C at about 79.

Water: it's been about $75 after I started watering every 3 days or so. It was about half that during the winter.
