My wife has seen groups of moms at different locations having fun and such. Does anyone know of any mommy clubs and how to join?

Try yahoo groups--there is at least one very active mom's group on there. Also have her try meetup.com and do a search for your zip code. Good luck!

Another resource is craigslist.org.

MOPS (Mothers of Pre Schoolers) has several chapters in SA. I found a review of one chapter with a web search for "San Antonio MOPS."

We are part of an club called MOMS club. It's geared a lot towards moms, and we have weekly activities for the kids, playgroups, outings, etc. We usually have 2-3 activities per week for people to choose from! Depending on where you live, is where your chapter would be. If you would like more info, DM me, I'm not sure how much I can tell you on here without it being "advertising" or something like that!

Ditto what Bowie says, MOPS is awesome! Think you can go to MOPS International - Mothers of Preschoolers to find a chapter near you here in SA. Some of the best support and networking you will find anywhere -- for stay-at-home moms or working moms alike.

I've found a great group through meetup.com. If your wife is interested, DM me and I'll send some details......

Our group has playdates, couples events, and both mom's and dad's night's. There is usually something going on nearly every day of the week - and most weekends.

Good luck!
