I've got several girls coming in town for a baby shower (for me, lol.) We would like to all go get pedicures and manicures somewhere. We don't need a fancy nail salon, the $30 pedi ones are perfect. I'm looking for a place that has several pedicure chairs facing each other... or even in a separate room (though that's not totally necessary.) The only place I've come up with is 4 Seasons Nails @ Blanco and Huebner... I think they have ~8 chairs, all facing each other. Any other suggestions?

As far as a restaurant, I would like something in the same area... doesn't have to be outside 1604- I live at Bitters & Huebner, so anywhere within ~10 minutes would be fine. I'm looking for a place that has yummy food and drinks, maybe where the entrees are around $10-15... I was thinking Paesano's but that might be too expensive. Something "different" would be good since everyone is from out of town. We're looking at the end of Sept. so maybe somewhere w/ a nice patio... ? Aldaco's (in Stone Oak) is another option as is Aldinos (Vineyard- but I'm also worried that might be too $$$.) Any other suggestions???

I highly suggest Stone Oak Nails. The owners are a husband and wife who are oriental but speak good English. I was in a few weeks ago and there was a wedding party in there all getting toes and nails done. If you like Mexican food, Amorcito's has a nice patio and good drinks and specials. Great margaritas and good food too!

I peeked into the window of Spa Jane (1604@281)...they seem to have about 8 pedicure spots in a semi-circle.

Perico's is right on Sonterra near 281...they have great happy hour ($2) drinks! Non-alcoholic for you!
