If anyone out there knows of a clean, conveniently located corporate housing or furnished apartments, please share some recommendations. This will be for June. Thank you.

Call one of the local apartment/home relocation specialists and they will work with you. They have a lot of inventory across the city and know the apartments very well.

Avoid the "executive" stay type hotels because you end up paying the hefty tourist taxes on top of everything.

In my new home search, I have worked with one very closely to have a back up option. PM me and I'll give you the name and who to talk to. (I don't have any connection personally with them!)

The Lodge Apartments is really nice, we lived there while our home was being built. It is off the 151 at Hyatt Resort Drive up on the NW side.

I know the ones above La Cantera are very nice, I had friends that lived there in a fully furnished place. It includes everything like a w/d and internet, cable, etc in the price.

My employer put me up for a month in the Candlewood Suites near the Medical Center, and it was fine. Oakwood, a corporate housing company where I stayed in Southern California, has several properties in San Antonio.

We are relocating in March so we called Moderator cut: Realtor Advertising and they hooked us up with their relocation group. What an invaluable complimentary service they provided. Deborah, our apartment guide found us a great apartment near the Quarry with a 1 year lease that includes insurance in the event that we find a home soon that allows us to break our lease after 3 months at no cost!

Aparently the apartment complex is the one that will pay for the service. Deborah is taking care of the electric & telephone hookup as well. She also gave us a welcome package that included information about the area that has been very helpful.

Additionally we called Kuper Sotheby's about our relocation and what an amazing welcome package they provided us! One handout alone is invaluable; spiral bound notebook about the schools in SA, both public & private as well as information about daycare. Contact #s and addresses are included.

Let me know if you would like Deborah's #, I can send it to you; she was the best.

Default Corporate housing in San Antonio

Hi mpg,

Are you still in need of corporate housing upon your arrival in June to San Antonio?

Yes, we are indeed still looking at options. Have called a few places, and the nicer ones are charging anywhere from $2800 to $3200 per month. We're trying to decide whether this is worth it.
