The one at Broadway was nice for me. The hubby gave me a Spa Package, Foot Massage, Facial and Massage for about $120.
I gave him a gift certificate for V-Day for Massage Envy on 151/410 area and he liked the massage. The environment wasn't really important to him as long as it was quiet and the massage was done well.

Mind in the gutter! lol.
I was trying to say that the therapist did a good job, some therapists don't even listen to their customers (I've been a victim of this unfortunately and don't go back) or just don't have proper technique.

LOL I know- I was just teasing... I had a massage in the new Wynn in Vegas and the therapist (I'm really being nice here) hurt my neck , even after asking her many times to go softer!!

I have had a good experience with the Alamo Heights location. All staff was very professional and capable. It is not a luxury spa environment by far - however, the level of service is appropriate to the price. I found the experience quite nice and relaxing.

so, i have to ask. its an actual massage for one full hour? do they switch up people halfway through, or have some kind of system like that? seems like your hands would get awfully cramped rubbing someone for an hour straight.

i could go for 30ish minutes, but an hour, meh, id start to get restless. YMMV though.

I don't work in any of these places but I can easily give 5 1 hour massages in a row and have even done 6 before. 6 in a day is my limit, though. I learned how to be a marathon massager during my internship at school because I wanted to finish my internship hours quickly. My hands were never a problem. It's more the back that can be a problem but using proper body mechanics while giving a massage helps.

I've had massages everywhere and especially with private therapists that i kept for years. I now have a membership at massage envy and i love it! I was so surprised to see that all of the therapists are very good. I've been a member at 2 different locations for about 6 years and have only been let down once. I go every month and sometimes many weeks in a row!

I actually prefer Oak Haven to them all. Leslie is the best. When I can get in to see her.
