WW White Road runs north and south parallel to Loop 410 on the east side of SA. It is for all practical purposes all inside 410 except for a very small stretch that leads to the 410 entrance ramp and Hildebrant Rd which will take you into rural east Bexar county/ San Antonio. The stretch inside 410 is lined with mostly mom and pop type businesses. There some interesting eating places, some strip centers, some used car lots. One of SA's oldest nurseries, Fannicks Garden Center is one block off of WW White on Holmgreen. The two main arteries dissecting WW White are Rigsby Ave (Hwy 87 to Lavernia) and IH10 (to Houston and Seguin). The residential areas residing east and west are mostly older homes, many on large lots. The area is predominately African American. Many of the residential street are now being repaved and upgraded to include curbs and sidewalks. It's a rather interesting, and also under rated part of SA.
