Haven't you ever heard of the quote dont give an honest person the chance to be dishonest! Plus the one on Wurzbach and I-10 does a great
job! I guess you just have to talk to everyone an be friendly with them
cuz if your rude and pissy they will probably poop in your trunk, with good
reason to if you ask me!

Nope. Just drive in and she'll wash it. Fantastic speed and I love whatever they use as detergent to do the wash. Leaves my car really spotless.

Thanks for the info! It's really helpful. I have spring break next week so I might take a little drive to the auto spa place and see if they can detail my car. It needs it desperately.

I have used Alamo Auto Spa; My choice for Car wash is The Hand Car Wash. Nothing fancy ,just good quality car washing. Great prices and very honest folks. They are located of De Zavala across Clark HS. Just sit, relax and watch them wash your car by Hand. Check out theit website www.thehandcarwash.com

Default Wash Tub experience

I have been taking my Nissan Sentra to the Wash Tub on Potranco near 1604 next to the HEB for almost a year now. We got that free club wash thing too when we bought the car. The people that work there are very friendly and conscientious. They have done an excellent job on my car from day one. They know me now after going there for so long and they know exactly how I like it. I have visited other Wash Tubs around San Antonio as well, and have never been disappointed. I cannot imagine the one on Potranco allowing anything like that to happen to any car much less a brand new one!! I am so sorry that you have had such a bad experience there. Having my new car cleaned at least once a week has helped keep it new looking and always a pleasure to drive. Hopefully, you will find a Wash Tub that does what they are supposed to do! Good luck!

I used to work at a Wash Tub in hs, back in 97. Other workers would rip off gas cards, spare change, anything that wasn't bolted down. I reported it to management and they didn't seem to care so I quit

I took my husband's truck to the pirate car wash place on Culebra last week... They attempted to remove the antenna with a wrench. As I was watching him, I was trying to process in my mind if it was normal to be removing the antenna (it had been a long time since I'd been through a carwash of that type)... next thing I know... SNAP.

I'm still waiting for their phone call with the promised replacement. But, I'm not complaining or anything...

We got the same membership thingy when we bought a used car as Mission Chrysler Dodge Jeep (whew thats a mouthful, the model names in their title might be reverse, doh!) and it didn't make sense for because we didn't live or work anywhere near their locations. I just prefer to wash our cars; personal attention to my babies!

Is that normal for a car wash to do that?? I don't think I've ever seen that before...

We took our SUV to one on Blanco & Bitters (can't think of the name now, but it wasn't Wash Tub), and they took our antenna off, but they did it w/o the wrench. They did a pretty good job there, but we just got an outside wash, nothing else.
