We're looking for human weave hair and synthetic braid hair and things like that. Also looking for good cornrow braiders, that aren't too expensive. We're new to the New Braunfels area from Los Angeles, and there's sooo many there, but we don't know anything here yet, so any help on anything related would be very appreciated.

Wow thanks. I'm so used to my Goddaughter or family or friends braiding my hair or my cousins. At home in comfort (since you know it takes a while) and now we have to go to strangers at a shop so I reallly appreciate the recommendations. Braids are art to me and I love how great it is in the heat of summer to not have to deal with it. And wow is it hot here. Gotta get used to that too. God Bless. Let me know if you think of anything else too. I love to hear it all.

Thanks we are going to try to go find these. And I will look forward to the one on Potranco if you ever get a chance. I looked up those websites and they look good but no prices so I knowww it's gonna be expensive and seems like a big deal and you know how we love the lil' joints that give the best. Just like it seems with food huh :-> Seems like when something gets too big it's not the same. We are looking for some good Carribean or Soul Food or really just any really good lil' joints. I have to scour through here cause I see that there are some good threads but wow lots to look through and it gets hard with toddlers, ayy ay ay crying and needing something almost every minute ahahahahaha. I will look forward to my braid time ahhhhh as a peace time away for a few.

When I was in Texas I'd order stuff from a company on Wiltshire Blvd...they do some of the best quality and was even buying from them when I was in LA. I just never found anything comparable in SA or Austin.

Was just curious if you were talking about His and Her Hair Goods on Wilshire Blvd. ? They have been there forever. But Wilshire Blvd. is a very
long, big street so it could be others but for some reason when I read your post thought it might be them cause my braider for many years used to use them for lots of different hair. But then later ordered from some place in New York. Yea my cousin bought some human braid hair at Daisy's beauty supply thinking it was weave tracks, but didn't notice till she opened the package at home and they let her come right back and exchange it.

Yup that's the one. In the 80's they had a much smaller shop near down town next thing I know, they have ashop that takes up a whole block...any way it's big. Their delivery if you order is on time and you wont find the same quality any where in SA or Austin. Maybe Houston but I never looked there. As for braiding the gal who did mine moved to Atlanta.
