The comment above about Heather Stolle's not allowing siblings in the lobby is incorrect. The studio has a large lobby which accommodates all who wish to watch their child dance, as well as the siblings of the dancers. Sometimes, however, when the younger siblings begin to misbehave to the point of disturbing the others, the staff needs to intervene to maintain a pleasant viewing environment.

Heather's studio is wonderful for so many reasons, but mainly because Heather and her staff are so nice and truly love the children. They do a great job of making dance a positive experience for all levels of dancers.

Default Love hssd

I have heard mixed things about all of the studios in Stone Oak, so I thought I'd share. =)

As for LA, I heard they were nice, but had high school students teaching the preschool and combo classes. I haven't heard much more.

I heard the Conserv. was really beautiful inside, but that a father was yelled at for walking on the floors??

I haven't heard anything about the Little Gym, but I did hear good things about Heather Stolle's School of Dance. I registered my daughter there for the first time this summer and have been completely happy! =) The staff is super friendly and helpful, and the Mrs. Kirsten is fantastic!! My daughter loves her class and we are registered for fall classes.

In regards to the comment posted above about the lobby, I am super impressed and thankful that they don't allow the lobby to get chaotic. The old place I had my daughter in Houston had a large lobby, too, and it was awful the way the siblings behaved. I don't see anything wrong with high expectations of behavior. =) Recently, there was a child around 6 throwing his toys and screaming at the top of his lungs in the lobby. His mother did nothing and it was very bothersome for those of us who were trying to watch our daughters in class. I witnessed the staff handle the situation, and was pleased by the way it was done, and the outcome! =) If someone thought they were rude, it was probably their kid that was being disruptive. =)

And, there aren't many studios who have a lobby that parents and siblings can relax and actually watch class. I visited three other studios in town and their "viewing window" was really small and they had barely any seating.

I guess I am just happy to have finally found a dance studio my daughter can call her "dance home", and we are both thrilled to be at HSSD!! =)

There is a ballet school in the complex where the "fork" restaurant is located near Canyon Ridge elementary. It must be new. I don't know if the sign is up yet or if it's open. I just know it will be there. Guess I'm not much help

I saw that too, the other day. It looked like they were just moving in, or at least unloading a bunch of things.

Yes, I saw that, too. I went online and saw that it is mostly ballet, and my daughter likes tap and jazz, too. I want her to have a full dance education. =) I am still a fan of HSSD! =)
