I can't stand it anymore. We need to do something! The season will be upon us before we know it. lets do a get together and see if anyone wants to go anywhere with anyone else.( pick me, pick me!!) Young and old, kids or not, travel trailer, RV,pop ups, tent or what ever else there is.

I will start by telling you about us ( like most of you don't already know!)
I guess you could call us "pre- empty nesters". The kid is not gone, but not here either. Will be a freshman in collage Monday, and just doest need us anymore except for $$$. so scheduling isn't as big a problem. We don't have to only go during school holidays anymore. The husband still works so we try to stick to weekends ( and kinda close) but can go during the week with a little notice.

We have a 25 foot travel trail, not fancy but comfortable. Sewers site are great but w/e are fine for the weekend.

We are state park pass holders and love to go as often as we can but would love to find some new places to go.

We love to eat, play cards, eat, play dice, washers, walk, talk, eat, eat, eat and do what ever. We DO take a TV to watch for weather or if the weather turns bad and there is nothing else to do.

We would love to make some new friends that share the same interest.

We are free this weekend for a last minute M & G if there is anyone else thats interested. If not then, then soooooooon.

Who's next?? Come on 78253ers!! I know your out there!!

Actually, I don't think we can go THIS weekend . I have some last minute school shopping to do, my girls start school on Monday. Plus we camped last weekend and I'm still recuperating .

A camping meet and greet sounds like a great idea. Anyone else like to camp????

I'm up for it!!! Just not this weekend Well, I'd much RATHER do that this weekend that getting ready for school Monday!

We're tent campers and have little in the way of gear...just picked this up in the last year or so with only a few trips behind us. But my 14yo is pretty impressed that I'll pitch a tent and eat beef jerky!! We are pass-holders as well, and love places that offer hiking or cool features (like Pedernales Falls).

Hope you find some interest for this weekend!!

Hey Camper 1. You know I'm in, but not this weekend. DH & I just got away last night to GRSP. Our daughter moved back home with her baby, and we needed to get some "alone time"! LOL The park is about 15 miles from our house, had the pop up- set up in a jiff, went out to eat, came back and enjoyed the stars, peace & quiet, and eachother.

Maybe you could still make it to a Meet and Greet. It would just be lunch because first we have to meet, then greet, then get to know each other, then check schedules and get out calenders and date books and i opd thingys...it could take awhile to set up an actual trip. It may turn out that just one or two go at a time because of scheduling.

Somebody pick a date for the first one...

My wife (NoPlacelikeWA) and I are camping fanatics!! We have a travel trailer, 3 dogs, and 5 kids. Needless to say, our 26 ft. trailer is busting out the seams!! It takes us a little more time to get organized for camping, so this weekend is out, but definately keep us on the list for future campouts!!
