Buyers Beware of Country Day Montessori on Jung Rd.
I did a lot of homework on Montessori Schools before narrowing it down to the Country Day School. I was so excited! Until...i guess i asked too many questions.
The head director uninvited my son to attend school...he is not even three yet..what has the world come when three year olds are rejected from school? I also heard that she has kicked out other families who were already bound to their strict contract. They are not accredited and are not members of the any of the Montessori Societies. Buyers Beware of the Country Day Montessori School on Jung Rd. They are not flexible for the parents. I mean..we still are the customer, right? We are the ones paying their paychecks, right? It is our obligation as parents to ask questions and if a school does not like that...they MUST have something to hide. Sad.

the other school i looked at was child montessori. it's very affordable and has great hours. i was a little unsure of the security because the day i visited, i walked in and no one was there to greet me. anyone could have walked off the street and none would have noticed. the teacher who helped me was very nice but it took about 10-15 minutes before anyone noticed i was there. i had called prior to my visit and i received a return phone call within 5 business days. they seem very nice, caring and nurturing. the other schools were too far away from where i live. judson i believe has dismissal at 11:45 for all students every day and they are very expensive. i've heard positive and negative things about this school. good-luck with your search!!

Montessori Kriterion
Still have the best experiences with Kriterion over at West Ashby. My kids loved it and I was very pleased to see that the teachers are so involved and still are !

Judson Montessori School
The head director uninvited my son to attend school...he is not even three yet..what has the world come when three year olds are rejected from school? I also heard that she has kicked out other families who were already bound to their strict contract. They are not accredited and are not members of the any of the Montessori Societies. Buyers Beware of the Country Day Montessori School on Jung Rd. They are not flexible for the parents. I mean..we still are the customer, right? We are the ones paying their paychecks, right? It is our obligation as parents to ask questions and if a school does not like that...they MUST have something to hide. Sad.
