Hey - I've been in to Rainbow on a handful of occasions over the years (years ago) and there were mighty fine women (assuming you are into pregnant strippers and the like). And the ones that weren't pregnant had the C-section scars to prove it!

If you want to go up a single notch in class, head across Hiway 90 in the Hamburger Hill area of Military Drive and try the Fertile Turtle (behind McDonald's) or if you need to get your drink on at the crack of dawn, join the night shift workers at Barton's Boozery.

Real class. All real class.

Hey buddy, watch it. I have been to all of those!( again, back in the 70's) Is the Turtle still there? Bartons was to wild for me, but I spent my time there too Tiffany''s on Valley Hi Dr. was the main hang out for me. Way before McDonalds was there. Thats where I met hubby. He was playing darts.

Tiffany's has done in a pinch. I'm not much of a bar person (haven't been in one in years) but having lived in the general area in my early adulthood, I know those ones well. In the 90's I would go to Fertile Turtle for a little Karaoke action. It is still there but I believe under new ownership. Barton's is still there - my Brother-in-law makes occasional appearances - occasional being several times a week as it is within walking distance of his house.

I've left puke tracks in the Tiffany's parking lot.

Back in the day, that place was a lot of fun! Barton's was not too wild, from what I remember--but hmmmmm, after a night of drinking tequila shots at Tiffany's there wasn't a whole lot of remembering going on. But the wilder the better, when you're 21, single, and lookin' for trouble.

And how does SC know Dawn, and why is he getting his drink on with her in the wee hours of the morning? Question of the day.

There used to be a really fun bar by Lackland--until they started letting 16 years olds in to drink. It was right there on Military and 90--I can't remember the name--something Rocket maybe, or Bullet??? Too many wild nights ago, I guess.....but they did have a lotta young-uns in there.

Afterburner. That crappy deck on the side of it that has been there for about 15 years? My brother in Law and I built for free beer. True story.

Nope, it was the Afterburner when I went. Had a couple of good times there, but then moved on up to Ingram and 410--it's Joe's Volcano now, but it used to be a country bar and it was always packed with GI's and kickers. The name completely escapes me, but this was in 1985, 1986.

In 1985/86, there was a bar at the corner of Ingram and Culebra called The Edge of Town. It was in the same strip center as what is now Fast Eddies.

I loved that place and left puke trails in the parking lot on 50 cent shots of Jack night.
