My younger daughter lives in the realm of humans, though, so I'm worried about moving her around or having a school that's too much into memorization of data without the use of manipulatives or visual tools. She is artsy as all get-out and smart as a whip, but she does not give a hoot about facts and figures. I want to make sure she's really 'taught' and not just supervised at school. Does that make sense?

. My older daughter could excel in school if she was in a grass hut with only a stick and the periodic table of elements. The girl is some sort of phenom, I swear. My younger daughter lives in the realm of humans, though, so I'm worried about moving her around or having a school that's too much into memorization of data without the use of manipulatives or visual tools. She is artsy as all get-out and smart as a whip, but she does not give a hoot about facts and figures. I want to make sure she's really 'taught' and not just supervised at school. Does that make sense?
