Does anyone remember when there was nothing but woods to the north, northwest, and northeast of the original Olympia subdivision? We used to ride motorbikes back there and in a clearing was something that looked like a quarry right out of the Flintstones. You would half expect to come upon some dinosaurs. I always felt a heightened sense of energy whenever we went back there. Does anyone remember this place, or know what it was?

In Universal City across Pat Booker Rd from Live Oak. It's located at the intersection of 1604, 35, and Pat Booker Rd. That mystical clearing in the woods is long gone. It's all houses now. When I lived there the first time('74-'76), it was a brand new subdivision and our street was the last one. It was all woods around us.
