very economical, feeds the whole family. its laid back and you dont have to put up with the frumpiness you would find at north side resturants.. by all means get there early, a long line forms to get in. dress code is unimportant and no one commenting on the shoes you wear.

enjoy
Now THIS is my kinda Sunday brunch! Who needs fru-fru and champagne, when barbacoa and Big Red will do!

Damn! I miss home!

By far the Brazil Pavil breakfast is one of the best in town. North side tucked away behind wildfish and roaring fork. Great eggs benedict. Salmon omelets. Nice little patio. Prices are actually very reasonable and service is not bad. Not sure about lunch or dinner. And it smelled a little weird inside last time I was there but I think they took care of that.

Jralst9180: I think you meant Brasserie Pavil. :-) They do seem to have a decent brunch menu albeit not that extensive. The restaurant itself is great though!

I just saw where Acenar is offering a great Sunday Brunch deal. $16 for an entree and 3 drinks! They have a great patio too!

Another vote for Magnolia's Pancake Haus. The only problem is it's kind of far from us on the NW side.

We like the Hyatt Hill Country brunch...a little pricey and don't go very often, but a nice splurge once and a great while.

IHOP is always my top choice! You can never go wrong, they have so much to select from.

I would guess the OP isn't looking for the basic breakfast restaurant, there are lots of those around.

I am guessing he/she is thinking a real brunch, like breakfast/lunch choices or buffet style.

If you want something different, you should check out the buffet at Mela Indian Grill:

Mela Indian Bar & Grill: San Antonio's Restaurant for Traditional and Modern Indian Cuisine

We go there on Sundays quite often!
