Here's the real question: Who cares? San Antonio is a good place to live(in the right areas) hills or no hills.

Your response has nothing to do with your original question about whether SA has hills or not.

"no hills" was italicized... that was my point. I originally asked where the hills were in sarcasm because I knew there were none.

Cabs....you're just being silly.....or maybe cantankerous?

To anyone really interested....The topo maps are a great place to see the elevations in Bexar County. I think the highest elevation in the county is about 950+ to over 1000ft which is in the NW corner (not sure where the county line was). Elevation heights range from 150ft to about 1000ft above sea level.
I got this info off a topo map.....not a truly accurate stat. Farther North and West along the Balcones fault line is the beautiful hill country (Up I-10 as far as Junction, TX...or a drive up 281 all the way to the DFW area)....beautiful views of the Texas Hill Country. It's a rustic beauty.....great at sunrise and sunset. (Thinking of the Eagles sing Tequila Sunrise!

The Dominion is part of San Antonio. I definitely remember looking up at some of the houses on top of the hill (although less than 1,000 feet I guess...maybe we could call it a protrusion ).

Here are some pictures of the northwest side hills, which is in the city limits.

Also, the south east side is quite hilly, not as big as the northwest side.

Where were those pics taken? And again, those aren't hills... I've seen brush piles bigger than those.

Because you say they're not hills, they're not? Ok.

Those are definitely hills, and some pretty nice ones at that. I've not been to SA in quite awhile, but the more pics I see the more I like it.
