Wow. I bought my baby furniture from Montgomery Ward's and carried it home that day - also only paid about $600 or $700 for three pieces, not "thousands" like quoted in the story. Sometimes I guess it pays to be cheap

Well they do (or DID, rather) have some high end items... however, I paid closer to what you paid and carried it out the same day as well. Floor sample sale.
