Crime is higher than previous years? or higher than other areas? Of course crime is plausible anywhere.
This isn't a contest. Please clarify your answer with some links to statistics. It's very misleading.

i can also send you a BCSO Crime analysis, but its in word format. send me your email. the Bexar format is city wide. i have a hard copy of BCSO crime data broken down according to sector of the county, but that I will have to meet to give you or you can contact their office.

Thanks for those stats. It's really hard to know how they are breaking down the areas. It says SAPD. I was specifically making a comment about the murder in the Converse/Universal City area. I'm not sure what jurisdiction covers Lakeview College campus but it's close. It's also not a true comparison because it's comparing 2007 and 2008 with only partial results. As far as this chart is concerned, capital crime/murder in the Converse/Universal City area is down
50% from last year.....and it's never been known for that level of violence.

This topic is about the shooting at Lakeview....just trying to keep the topic in relation to the OP.

Thanks for the offer for the BC info, but I've always made it a policy not to share person information through public forums. I do, however have sources where I could find it if I need it.

Lakeview's new, under construction, campus is in Live Oak. I believe the current facility is also in Live Oak, possibly Universal City.

In the last 10 years or so there have been only two murders in Live Oak, not including this one.

In the last 10 years or so there have been 4 murders in Universal City.
