It's a regular Target store, with one entrance.

I did visit it later in the week. It sort of reminds me of the store at Blanco/410, but I only just went and looked around the front/foyer area. The main thing about this store opening is that it's a major tenant in the new shopping complex. It's interesting to see what they did with the old Rector road that used to run behind Central Park Mall. It's finally been reopened after a couple of years being closed. It's been uniquely incorporated into the center, not the separate road it used to be.

It also appears that the main structure of the old CPM is still intact. I can see the gutted out mall that was visible a few years ago before they "covered up" the construction. That's cool. I hope they utilize the old mall in some capacity. It looks interesting.

That is not the old structure from CPM, but rather all new construction. I work in the building across the street, and have been watching the progress for years now.... The only piece of CPM to survive is the Sears building. They also dropped the GPM Life and Frost Bank buildings that were on the west end of the mall.

Also interestingly Rector through there was never a real City Street. Before they closed it due to the construction the city had hung signs noting that it was a private rode. I guess the city was getting too many complaints about how rough it had become.

I just went to the new Target this past weekend for emergency halloween costume shopping. I believe it's a SuperTarget because it has a sizable grocery section in addition to the normal shopping areas, but I could be mistaken. And yes, they do have the cool new carts.

if there is produce it should be a super target. Some of the regular targets, however, do have a bigger amount of frozen foods and milk and beverages. Produce is usually the sign. that and a deli with fresh cut foods.
