Dreamweaver CS4 was just released and the full price is $400. There are upgrade versions that are much cheaper if you're upgrading from an older version of Dreamweaver or one of its competitors. There are also specially priced versions for students and educators if you fall into that category.

Locally, I assume it might be found at Best Buy or one of the office stores like Staples, Office Depot, etc. It'd probably be best to call first.

You can order it from Amazon for $393. It might be a good idea if you have to pay full price, since Amazon doesn't normally charge sales tax.

I'd recommend the student version if you can get it. The qualifications are usually pretty generous if you get it from the right place and the price difference is significant (you can get CS4 for $99 on the Adobe site).
If you can't qualify for that, try an older version. Getting a version that is one or two versions from the latest will usually save you some good change also.

Default Thanks

Thanks to all that responded. I work for NISD and I qualify for the educational discount...I will check out Adobe ,$99 sounds pretty good.Does anyone know someone who is experienced in webdesign? I am looking into building a website that has the feel of Myspace but not quite the same ,this would be unique.

Thanks
