Afternoon all,

Has anyone ever used, or can recommend, an installation service for Christmas lights? I've seen signs up but would like to see if anyone would provide some feedback in regards to the work prior to making any calls. The installtion would need to be for a two story house and the service would need to supply the lights and the bells and whistles

If you have feedback or numbers...please let me know!

It's really too late to be ordering this service. All of the good vendors who do it will be booked solid. My HOA found this out the hard way a couple years back after the vendor that they signed up with did a lousy job and they had to get it done by whoever was available. The lights got installed on December 10. They're on a yearly contract with the current vendor, who installed the lights about 10 days ago. I don't know the vendor's name.

I have a question- my neighbor said he knows a guy who will put our lights up (christmas lights on a two story house) and will take them down for a certain price- but we were wondering what happens if the guy falls? Are we liable? I dont think this guy works for a company or anything. Does any one know?

Not a lawyer, but I think that ANYONE hurt on your property can hold you liable...I know that if someone is walking on your sidewalk and gets hurt they can hold you responsible...how dumb is that????

Heck, your kids friends getting hurt can sue....how do I know this?? Because as landlords, someone getting hurt IN THE HOUSE THEY RENT FROM YOU can sue for injuries and damages. That is why you have GOOD insurance.
