I wasn't sure if I could post the link. Thanks. Wonder what, if anything, they are going to do to the people involved. Surely, there is security video?

That's another reason I don't participate in Black Friday. A cheap blue-ray player could be more valuable than someone's life? Disgusting.

"When they were saying they had to leave, that an employee got killed, people were yelling 'I've been on line since yesterday morning,'" she said. "They kept shopping."

I bet their mamas are proud.

Yep, I heard about it, and I am halfway around the world right now. It's amazing what news gets picked up quickly!

I did surf the store websites to see if there was anything worth ordering online, but nothing spectacular. Maybe I'll get in the mood when I get home...

I saw several videos of brawls and the the guy getting trampled. People are freaking animals and not the good kind either. My dogs would be smart enough to leave a situation like that, but then again they don't want a 360 for the same price or more expensive than you can get it online.. morons
I hit the stores starting at a little after 9:00 AM and got everything I wanted except a particular Care Bear. The AR Target sucked for customer service too. I asked for a rain check and the lady said I couldn't get one for advertised items. I told her it wasn't, so she asked someone else and they said I couldn't get one for non-advertised items. Basically I could not get a rain check no matter what. The whole time they were all whining about getting in to work at 5:45 AM, which is when I get in to work every freaking day.. dorks
The only other thing to upset me was the granite place was closed until Monday. That's going to be a hard place to visit because they're only open M-F and they're located near Hausman/1604 (weekday traffic hell).
The great part was every store was very empty by the time I went in. Even the Potranco HEB+ was dead at around 1:30 PM. I've never seen that.

I have to tell you that on the way into work this morning at 0545 the intersection of Potranco and 1604 looked like a normal Friday evening at
4PM!!!! The people at Starbucks were parking in the Broadway bank parking lot it was so packed.

What is WRONG with this picture???????

Then there's the two idiot gang members who decided to have a shoot-out in a Toys 'R' Us store out in Kalifornia. No worry 'bout a repeat incident, they killed each other.....
