Anyone know of a really good Mini-Golf place in town? Something a little more challenging than Embassy (that's the only one we've been to here).
Are there any courses with windmills/clown mouths or any other kind of obstacles? Any help would be appreciated.

AFAIK, there are only 3 mini-golf places in the whole city. Embassy, Cool Crest (1400 Fredericksburg Rd, but closed indefinitely at last report here) and Classic Golf (1599 Classic Dr, on the far East side of the city). I've played several times at Embassy and agree that it could be better. I've never had enough interest in mini golf to make the long drive out to Classic Golf.

Supposedly there was a course planned for the Northwoods Ice Center. Last time I checked it wasn't built yet.

It's open now. That might be your best bet. Here's a link to more info.

We took our little girl to the one at Northwoods. It was fun, but doesn't really have any of the stuff you are looking for. It does have bumpers and fun stuff on the course but no windmills or anything.
When we went we were the only people out there. It was a lot of fun!

I've seen that place from I-10, but apparently the mini golf there is hidden, so I didn't even know that Malibu had it. Mostly, I didn't include it because it didn't show up in a web search.

Malibu on Cherry Ridge would be the best for what you are looking for. They have tons of that kind of stuff.
