Dennis Jewelers on 281 at Winding Way, or Jimmy Green way out in The Vineyard at Blanco and 1604. Jimmy Green and his staff used to be at Dennis til he opened up his own place. They do excellent work.

Not sure what side of town works best for you, but I highly recommend J & J Watch and Jewelry on Potranco Rd, in the little strip mall with Kens Cleaners on one end and the Pet Barn on the other (between Dugas Rd and Ellison, on the opposite side of Stevens HS).

This is a family run business that has done FANTASTIC work for me and very reasonable. I also like the fact that they check the prongs and clean my rings whenever I stop in without any expectation of charge! I was there just the other day and like the fact they ensure my diamonds settings are safe and secure.

A friend from worke took in her engagement ring and they custom made a wedding band that looks PERFECT with it. I really like to support the mom and pop shops, especially since they appreciate your business and understand that you refer folks and that is the best type of advertising...satisfied customers!

The guy in Ingram Mall is pretty good and reasonable. It's inside the mall, outside Lubys.

Everyone:

Thank you so much! My diamond in my wedding ring fell OUT the other day. Luckily, my husband found it on the kitchen floor.

I appreciate you taking the time to answer. :-)

Penaloza and Sons on NW Military Hwy did a couple of appraisals for us. They are a manufacturing jeweler.

I second that. I had them custom make my wife's engagement ring years back and they did an excellent job.

Just wanted to give another shout out to Penaloza and Sons.

I just took a ring there to get re-sized. It came out looking as sparkling and shiny as the day it was purchased. Superb work and very reasonable. They are very professional and timely.
