Anyone know whats going on with the chopper in the air? It keeps circling around the culebra/1604 area. Went running at culebra park and it came really close to touching down in that mobile home subdivision in front of Taft. Any clues?

I was at Mama Margies at the time and didn't see anything going on. I even made it out of the AR area with all green lights and that was at almost 6:00 PM

There's the chopper again! I feel like the guy being chased by a cropduster in North by Northwest.

HAHAH,
This made me laugh riotously!! I lived in SA and one afternoon a chopper kept circling our apartment complex. It was buzzing right over head and coming down really close, at certain points on the approach, heading right at my apartment. My boyfriend at the time had warrants in Georgia, and got PARANOID as HELL! They were just for Failure to Appear on some misdemeanors, but apparently he was scared to death that San Antonio PD had time to hunt his ass down and come get him with air support!!! I was just about to leave to go to the store and when I got to the exit of the complex, there was a barricade. I was like, "OH GOD!!!" They let me pass without question, and on the way back in, I casually asked what was going on, they said there were some taggers loose in the area.
TAGGERS?!?! REALLY? That gets a chopper in San Antonio?!?!?!
I thought, well, maybe with response like that those misdemeanors might get some attention!!
It was funny!
They do bust out the choppers for any old thing, though. They buzz around all over town all the time, it seems.

hmm, guess there were two accidents then. The only emergency lights I saw were at Potranco/1604. It must've happened while we were eating dinner because traffic wasn't backed up before we got there or after we left.
