I'm looking for a family-friendly restaurant/establishment to have a New Years party at. I have some bands lined up and ready to go... Reggae, Blues, Classic Rock, Latin Rock, Funk and more. Must be family friendly. We want everyone to be included and have a great time. Does anyone know of a place or own such a place???

I just had a large party catered by SA Party Planning (San Antonio Rentals and Party Planning - Welcome) and they did a great job. They just bought a nice facility off of Broadway to rent out for events. Might want to look into it. Since it's so new, you might get a great deal.

Also check out the Red Berry Mansion The Red Berry Mansion on the Lake

It's lovely...but my guess is most places will be booked for New Years by now. Unless it's someplace new as Kev suggested and still needing to build up business. Good luck and please let us know if you find anything!

I am interested to see how this goes, but I dont think many places would be interested in helping with "family friendly" unless you were willing to pay for the lack of liquor sales they would have made off an adult party.

Maybe one of those family indoor pizza park places though?

You make a valid point.....but family friendly doesn't necessary mean without libations. Lots of "family friendly" weddings and celebrations have generous cash and open bars! Of course, hopefully a "family" group would be responsible in that area.
