If any of you are familiar with these Houston restaurants, can you suggest a similar type restaurant in SA? For those of you unfamiliar, I'm looking for a "Southwest Grill." Each of these Houston restaurants are family, order at the counter style restaurants that serve burgers, chicken, and a few mexican plates.

I sooo miss my Skeeter's.

Thanks!

Babe's or EZ's for the burgers. Actually, EZ's has salads also. I don't think I've seen anything here nearly as cool as Skeeters--judging by their website. Looks like a great place for kids.

Ooops, sorry. They do have burgers and buns there, though.

I couldn't find a website for Babe's, but I found their messy myspace--you can see the menu (somewhat)....also, there is a location on Bandera outside 1604........not sure how far since I don't drive that way regularly but I want to say a mile or so......on the left.

Babe's doesn't seem as kid-friendly as Skeeter's does, though. I know a lot of people like EZ's with their kids--I think on Weds. the kids eat free--but they may have changed that lately.
