I know there is a nice group in San Antonio that follows the Hawks, so I was wondering if anyone can suggest where some of these fans may be watching the Outback Bowl?

If you don't get an answer here, I would recommend that you check with the alumni association whether there's a local U of Iowa game-watch spot. If they know, I hope you'll come back and share the info here.

BTW, welcome to City-Data. You'll find that there are many San Antonio fans of other Big Ten teams here.

South Carolina ... who knows what kind of game that will be. I am a die hard Hawkeyes fan ... and honestly have nothing against the Aggies or any other Texas teams for that matter. I met some really nice Iowa fans at the last Alamo Bowl and since I just moved to Kyle ... I thought I might be able to find some place close with like fans

Yea, that should be a very good game I'd say. Both teams have alot of potential, just haven't fully tapped into it yet. I will say one thing, I loved the Gamecocks when Holtz was there, but I can't stand Spurrier. I hope you guys stick it to them. I heard he could be next on the hot seat, and im fine with that. Plus any SEC losses are okey dokey in my book! Wait! Other than the Hogs!
