Hi,
We are buying a home and my kids should attend Forester Elem. The problem is, I'm hoping the school is not already capped, and I can't find out because the website has no info and the district is closed until Jan 5th. Since it's a new school, I can't even find opinions on greatschools.net. Does anyone have any children that attend Forester? What are your opinions? Any advice?
Thank you!

I emailed a friend of mine whose child goes to Forester. I wanted to reply to you so you knew someone was "working" on an answer. There is probably someone on here w/ a Forester student that will be able to help you, otherwise just call the school directly (after the holidays of course) and I am sure they will be happy to help.

My son goes to Forester elementary. He is only in pre-k, so I'm not sure how much help I can be. I honestly don't know if they are capped or not. I'm guessing it would depend on the grade level. I know a little girl just left my son's class and won't be returning in January. So, there is always hope with military moving in and out of the area. What age is your child? If you would like, you can DM me and ask further questions. Are you a military family? If so, you might also want to check at the base school, I think they allow off base children to attend if they aren't capped. It's supposedly a great school. Best of luck to you!

I can't imagine Forester would be capped, as it only opened in August.

Go to this web site North Side ISD - Street Category Selection and put in the address of your home. It will tell you whether it's capped or not.

Hello,

My daughter goes to Forester, but she is in the PPCD program and only goes part time. I'm not sure that it would be capped yet, as it is a brand new school and just opened this year.

Hopefully someone else will have an answer for you before the school reopens on the 5th.
