There are some Townhomes over off of the Montgomery road area.. which is off of Walzem and near the windcrest area.. If those are the ones they are talking about.. RUN!!! DONT LOOK BACK!

yeah I would stay out of the Camelot townhomes.... more crime than average, though it is dropping. The homes were 70's entry level. Not very nice.

I have lived on the NE side for life. We now live in the Hunters Mill subdivision off Thousand Oaks near Wetmore. We have never ever had any problems out here. It's very quiet and safe.

Traffic into downtown via IH35 South is a nightmare and will get worse with the expansion at Ft Sam...try condo's in the Blanco/Wurzbach or Callaghan/IH10 area for more central access

Rackspace is getting ready to hire thousands for the old Windsor Park Mall area...and a new upgraded community development plan for the area around there is in the works..could be pretty cool in 5 years BUT the traffic into downtown will tank. I grew up in that area and just dont see any real future there for the area to regenerate but the new increased military presence and the rackspace development will have a patch work effect that could make it nice. Just too risky and not very realistic to think the area is going to turn around. The heyday was in the 70's and it's been downhill since

strong annexation policy? TSSSS!! Yea right i live in the south side of san antonio and there are lots of gangs here and things happen all the time. Plus yea im sure you are very safe in the NE area. I have una tia a pa'aca. So yea im sure its not like you are gonna be walking outside with gangs just watching you. Trust me i know what im talking about im 17.
