I am curious about something - there is an odd collection of buidlings around mile marker 113 when heading south on interstate 37 to Corpus Christi. The property started out w/just a trailer many years ago and now it has grown into quite a substantial compound. Does anyone know what it is? It's kind of out in the middle of nowhere, set back along the highway, is it privately owned? Does the compound serve a purpose? I have driven past it many times over the years and have always wondered about it.

Go to GoogleEarth or GoogleMaps or Web browser and Live Maps are incompatible and post the place you are talking about. Otherwise, we have no idea where you are talking about!

Cheers! M2

Good idea majormadmax ... I wish I had taken my own picture when I drove past there last time. It's always a topic of conversation with however is in the car with me, last time it was my mom. She thinks it's a cult, lol. If anyone driven that road and glanced over, it will be noticed. I've googled and nothing has come up. I'll look for an aerial view to post.

If anything, try to find the name of a road or other landmark nearby and give directions (e.g. "a half mile south of Exit 22 at FM 123," or "three miles north of Littlestown") to help us locate what you are talking about. I am interested as well but there is no way to located mile marker 113 that I can find, other than driving it. Unfortunately, where I love to investigate things like this, I leave for a business trip tomorrow and don't have the time right now...

Cheers! M2

It looks like that exit is Ranch Road 3006, four miles north of Pleasanton. If you zoom in on the Google Maps you can see the exit numbers, which match the mile markers...

mile markers are for where you tell the EMS you are at in case you have no idea where you are...but in this case we need it for this puzzle.

Is this the compound with the building that has like arches in front and looks like some sort of Spanish architecture?
