so if the strip mall could be my way, since it has to be there anyway.

It would be nice to have a fresh produce store, a cafe' open for lunch and dinner, light healthy food would be nice. w/ outdoor seating. A coffee shop/ bakery open early on weekends. Maybe private office space and a yoga studio would be nice.

No nail salons, uggh. no typical strip mall uglies.

ahhh, there I go dreaming again

off to read thread about the shell station......

Sorry about the nail salon there...last one in was the dry cleaner outfit I did...behind it was a liquor store....then of course a nail salon....got a restaurant there too. I'm working on a nice coffee shop for you guys with outdoor patio area.... It's tough to compete with a fresh produce area, I'd like to see one there, but HEB is "KING KONG", and won't help support the rental amounts. Someone at Shell may have some pals downtown on the planning commission...last time I checked gas stations weren't allowed over the edwards aquifer, and hence the ongoing lawsuit with the corner of 281 and Stone Oak Parkway. That's it for today fellas (lunch is over)---the Commercial Realtor guy.

any word on anything else going in there yet?

I don't drive that direction as much as I used to because of a job change. Is the nail place already open?
