Anyone in the business know or heard of any rumors of possibilities that they will come back? Rumor had it that they shut them all down here due to money laundring but I don't know for sure. They were always pretty steady and were on the verge of building even more locations in town from what I had read one time. I'll never forget that when the one in the forum opened, there was a line literally outside of the door I kid you not. It was decent, fast, and very affordable italian food for what it was.

according to their web site, there's one not too far away: 927 Highway 80 San Marcos, TX 78666

that's pretty close to the Forum isn't it?

I'm usually not a fan of fast food but Fazoli's was one exception on my list. Thye were very convenient for me for workday lunches. Hated to see them go. I sure wish they would come back.

If you ask my kids which restaurants they miss most, Fazoli's would be at the top of their list. I liked it OK, but I don't pine for it like they do.

Wasn't about money. It was about one of the brothers not wanting to do it anymore so they had to sell it off.

I was making a comparison to the *poof, they disappeared* comment that was made regarding Fazoli's. It's really sort of irrelevant HOW they disappeared (at least to me), sad fact is, they're gone.
